The Book Van has visited again so there are new books on the shelf along with the Harry Potter series and a few other donated series.
The telephone lines are back up and running along with the internet and a new computer. You may also notice a new front window that replaced the older, cracked window. While you’re in the library, check out the comfy, reading chairs and stay awhile.
CPR Classes in JanuarySt. Malachy’s Church ushers and others will be having a CPR Class in January. There will be a sign up in the back of the church. No dates have yet been set but will most likely be on a Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will be held in the Community Memorial HealthCare meeting room im Marysville. Fifteen persons can be trained at one time; this is a physically demanding class.
Christmas CarolingCommunity Christmas caroling will be December 2nd and is sponsored by Beattie PRIDE and the Beattie Library. Caroling will begin at 3 p.m. followed by soup and dessert at the Beattie Library. All community members are invited to come and help sing.
PRIDE BreakfastPRIDE will sponsor a Hunter’s and Others breakfast on Sunday, November 11th at St. Malachy’s Parish Hall in Beattie from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. This will be a free will donation and will be biscuits and gravy, sausage, pancakes, breakfast casseroles, juice and coffee. All are invited.
